Mkista ("we", "us") is a Melbourne-based web design and SEO practice run by Mayuresh Pande, serving small businesses across Australia. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This page explains what we collect on mkista.com and what we do with it.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, business name, contact detail (email or phone) and message you type in. The same applies if you reach out by email, phone, SMS or WhatsApp.
- Basic technical logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.
We don't run advertising trackers on this site, and we don't use analytics cookies to follow you around the web.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and, if we end up working together, to deliver the services you engage us for.
- Form submissions are stored securely on our server, sent to us by email, and may create a contact record in our own customer relationship tools so your enquiry doesn't get lost.
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don't add you to marketing lists you didn't ask for.
Third-party services this site relies on
- Google Fonts — the typefaces on this site load from Google's servers, which means Google receives standard technical request data (such as your IP address) when a page loads.
- Wix — some content on this site is served from our Wix headless CMS, and enquiry records may be stored in our Wix customer tools.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — if you choose to contact us via a WhatsApp link, your use of WhatsApp is governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policy.
- Hosting — this site is hosted on managed infrastructure that maintains standard access logs.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client records only as long as they're useful for the purpose you gave them to us — responding to you, delivering work, and meeting basic record-keeping obligations. If you'd like your enquiry deleted, just ask.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@mkista.com or call +61 468 030 786 and we'll respond promptly. If you're not satisfied with how we handle a privacy concern, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this site handles personal information, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
